Let’s get real about weight issues. Many of us, vegan or not, struggle to maintain a normal weight. We change our diets, become mindful of the foods we purchase, (organic and nongmo) yet still find it difficult to keep our weight in check. What gives???
Losing or maintaining weight often requires smaller serving sizes and the willingness to be active. The problem is many of us have become accustomed to larger portions. If you struggle with weight, think balance – health is more than just the food we put in our cart each week. It’s about mindfully preparing and serving our food in ways that are beneficial to our body. Our Portion Control Buckwheat Breakfast Jars were served up in jelly jars for our on-the-go breakfast this morning.
Choose vessels that are size-appropriate – small plates, bowls, and pint-size jars. Filling smaller plates and bowls can be very satisfying without adding excess calories to your day. Get creative…I reuse jelly jars, votive candle holders, anything cute and a bit smaller.
