Inspired by the Southwest, our Cilantro Detox Smoothie is not only delicious, but beneficial in helping to cleanse the body of heavy metal build up. Cilantro has a strong flavor and typically overrides most smoothies, but we’ve mixed-it-up by juicing our greens – including the cilantro – as a base for this simple, anti-inflammatory smoothie. The cilantro is present but not too strong. Of course, if you don’t like to drink your greens, give cilantro a try in your next salad.

Cilantro Detox Smoothie

Juice
- 1 cucumber
- 6-8 stalks celery
- 6-10 dino kale leaves
- 1 bunch cilantro
- 1/2 fresh pineapple
- 1 lime
Smoothie
- Juice (see above)
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 banana
Instructions
- Juice up the greens, lime and pineapple.
- Add your fresh green juice to a high-speed blender with frozen mango and banana.
- Blend until creamy.
